Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator to join the IT & Data Systems team at SEIU 2015. The Database Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management, configuration, and optimization of SEIU 2015’s Salesforce platform, with a focus on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Responsibilities include but are not limited to integrating other data sources with Salesforce to ensure a seamless flow of information and provide our organization with actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and optimization of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, Salesforce Analytics CRM, and integration with external systems
  • Develop and implement workflows, process automation, and data validation rules to streamline business processes.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards that provide insights into key performance metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce.
  • Provide ongoing user support, training, and documentation to ensure the effective use of Salesforce by all users.
  • Manage user access and permissions, ensuring compliance with security best practices.
  • Perform routine data maintenance tasks, including data imports, deduplication, and cleanup.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features, and evaluate their potential impact on our organization.
  • Work closely with the IT team to integrate Salesforce with other systems and data sources, including SQL Server systems, NGP VAN, Action Network, and external APIs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce and its integrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Database Analytical Specialist, with a focus on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Lightning Web Components is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Experience with Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Flow, and Apex triggers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with integrating Salesforce with other systems and data sources, using tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or custom APIs.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is a plus.
  • Experience with data migration and data quality tools, such as Data Loader and DemandTools, is a plus.

Salary Range: $81,901.92 to 86,048.22
